Position: In-Center Multisensory Teacher
Location: 12125 Day Street Ste. E305, Moreno Valley, CA 92557
Hours: Minimum Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Additional hours available (tutoring offered 7 days a week, 9 AM – 9 PM).

Math Man Olmedo Tutoring Center provides personalized tutoring—online, in-center, and in-home—to help students reach their full academic potential. We are committed to meeting students where they are and using research-based strategies to ensure meaningful growth.

Our center offers a structured, supportive learning environment equipped with whiteboards, private practice rooms, and Wi-Fi access.

We support students in:

• Math: Elementary through Calculus, Statistics, and Business Math
• Science: Chemistry, Physics, Biology
• Test Prep: ASVAB, CBEST, SAT, ACT, CSET, GED, MCAT
• Other Subjects: Reading, Spanish, and more

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Multisensory Teacher to provide structured, explicit, and engaging instruction to students with diverse learning needs. This role focuses on supporting students who benefit from multisensory, hands-on, and differentiated instruction methods—particularly in reading and foundational math.

Instruction may take place in-center, online (Zoom), or in-home (Moreno Valley area).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver multisensory, structured literacy and/or math intervention sessions.
• Use evidence-based approaches (e.g., Orton-Gillingham principles or similar methodologies).
• Assess student skill levels and develop individualized learning plans.
• Break down foundational skills in reading, writing, and/or math in a clear, systematic way.
• Track and document student progress consistently.
• Communicate growth, goals, and strategies with parents/guardians.
• Adapt instruction to support students with learning differences (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD, processing challenges).
• Create an encouraging environment that builds confidence and independence.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree (Education, Special Education, Literacy, or related field preferred).
• Training or experience in multisensory or structured literacy instruction strongly preferred.
• Experience working with students with learning differences.
• Strong classroom management and rapport-building skills.
• Patient, structured, and growth-focused.
• Reliable transportation (required for in-home sessions).
• Comfortable teaching virtually via Zoom.
• Bonus: Bilingual abilities.
