Join our dedicated team as an In-Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Duties

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
  • Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and recognizing changes in condition; document medical information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Administer medications and perform catheter care following medical terminology guidelines and HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality
  • Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s care through memory-enhancing activities and specialized techniques for dementia and hospice care
  • Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, blood pressure cuffs, and other assistive devices safely and effectively
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions; assist with light cleaning, laundry, and household chores to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals by maintaining detailed medical documentation and updating care plans as needed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support while respecting client preferences and privacy at all times

Experience

  • Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and vital signs monitoring
  • Hands-on experience with long-term care settings or home & community care services is advantageous
  • Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice care training or working with disabilities are a plus
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping
  • Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to foster trust and rapport with clients

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
