Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental well-being
• Administer medication reminders and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living space
• Observe and report any changes in client health or behavior to appropriate medical personnel promptly
• Support clients in engaging in recreational activities or exercises tailored to their needs
• Follow care plans meticulously while maintaining confidentiality and respecting client preferences

Requirements

• Prior experience in caregiving or home health services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively; familiarity with emergency protocols is a plus
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as medication management or first aid is advantageous
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed
• Experience with diverse populations including geriatrics or individuals with special needs is highly desirable
• Must pass background checks and have reliable transportation to travel between clients’ homes
