Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light household chores to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs tailored to their dietary requirements.
- Follow care plans meticulously, ensuring all tasks are completed with compassion and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, client progress, and any incidents or observations.
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in caregiving or healthcare settings, including but not limited to:
- Level II trauma center experience or hospital medicine background that demonstrates ability to handle complex health needs.
- Emergency medicine exposure or experience working in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit).
- OR (Operating Room) experience or familiarity with surgical procedures enhances understanding of medical protocols.
- Geriatrics expertise for caring for aging populations with specific health considerations.
- Medical-surgical or inpatient care experience that highlights versatility across various clinical settings.
- Outpatient, clinic, or post-acute care background providing continuity of care outside hospital environments.
- Sub-acute care experience supporting patients transitioning from hospital to home or long-term care facilities.
- Teaching hospital experience that reflects strong communication skills and adherence to best practices in patient care. We seek motivated individuals eager to provide exceptional in-home support while continuously developing their caregiving expertise in diverse healthcare environments.
