Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to enhance their comfort and dignity
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster positive social interactions and reduce feelings of isolation
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health status in accordance with care plans established by healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living environment to promote safety and hygiene
- Observe and report any changes in the client’s physical or mental condition promptly to supervisors or healthcare providers
- Support clients with mobility aids and transfer techniques to prevent falls and injuries
- Follow all safety protocols and documentation procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare standards
Skills
- Prior experience working as an In Home Caregiver or in related settings such as Geriatrics, Post-acute care, or Medical-surgical environments
- Knowledge of Level II trauma center procedures, hospital medicine, emergency medicine practices, and Level I Trauma Center protocols is highly desirable
- Familiarity with PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), OR (Operating Room) experience, outpatient clinics, sub-acute care settings, and teaching hospital environments enhances your ability to provide comprehensive care
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs while maintaining professionalism and compassion
- Experience supporting clients with diverse health conditions including geriatrics or post-acute recovery
