Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health status, and supporting overall well-being. You will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver safe, respectful, and attentive care that promotes independence and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Support patients with specialized care needs such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities
• Document patient progress and any changes in condition clearly and promptly
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for clients

Qualifications

• Proven experience in home health care or long-term care environments; nursing home experience is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care best practices
• Ability to observe patient conditions closely through patient observation skills and report findings accurately
• Experience working with people with disabilities or those requiring dementia or Alzheimer’s care is preferred
• Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a home setting
• Driver License, auto insurance and auto registration is required, as there could be clients you may need to drive

Schedules

We have all different hours and availability. Our clients tell us what they need, and we try our best as a team to satisfy client and caregiver needs.

• 2 hour shifts during the middle of the day
• 4 hour shifts morning and/or afternoon
• Weekends are flexible

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
