Central Haven has many immediate openings for caregivers! We have shifts to fill for one-on-one care with individual clients! The hours needed by clients vary and can be tailored to your schedule.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient female caregiver to provide support to a young adult male in the Kissimmee, FL area. This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, nurturing, and committed to enhancing the quality of life and independence of the individual in their care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living, including feeding, personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Provide close supervision to ensure safety and well-being at all times
• Support emotional regulation by maintaining a calm, structured, and reassuring environment
• Assist with meal preparation and encourage healthy eating habits
• Help maintain a clean and organized living space
• Implement and follow care plans, routines, and behavioral strategies as directed

Community Inclusion & Social Activities:

• Actively support the client in engaging with the community through meaningful and enjoyable activities
• Plan and participate in outings such as trips to parks, recreational centers, shopping, libraries, and local events
• Encourage social interaction and help build appropriate communication and social skills
• Facilitate participation in hobbies, exercise, and leisure activities outside the home
• Promote independence while ensuring safety in all community settings

Transportation Requirement:

• A reliable personal vehicle is mandatory for this position
• Must be willing and able to drive the client to appointments, community outings, and social activities

Ideal Candidate:

• Patient, compassionate, and dependable
• Experience working with individuals who require behavioral or developmental support is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and supportive during challenging situations
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance

This role requires a proactive individual who is capable of managing various tasks while ensuring the well-being and comfort of the client. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, patient observation, and providing direct support in a private home setting .We at Central Haven are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, both for our clients and our employees.

We're a great fit for you if you:
*18 years old +
* Possess a High School diploma/GED
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Have 1+ years experience as Personal Support caregiver, Companion or similar role 

* Have proof of Florida residency 

* Have the ability to pass a Local & Level II Background Screening

* Have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
* Can complete immediate required FREE training courses for certification

* Are CPR/1st Aid Certified (Willing to obtain within 90 days)

* Have access to a Smartphone
* Have 1 Letter of Reference

*Access to a computer with basic computer skills
