Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and overall health status regularly
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for privacy and confidentiality
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
• Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices when required
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in home & community care or long-term care settings, including assisted living or nursing homes
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice care practices
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy at all times
• Competence in assisting with medication administration and vital signs monitoring
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and use mobility aids safely and effectively
• Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and coordinate with healthcare teams

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
