Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals
• Support clients in engaging with community activities or hobbies to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home care or related settings preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
• Strong communication skills with a caring and respectful demeanor
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions accurately
• Knowledge of basic health monitoring techniques and emergency procedures
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Experience with diverse populations including geriatrics, post-acute care, or outpatient services is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CPR or First Aid are advantageous but not mandatory
