Position Overview

As an In-Home Caregiver (Homemaker), you will provide essential daily care and companionship to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care)
• Provide mobility assistance (transfers, walking, positioning)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing)
• Provide transportation and run errands as needed
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans and document services in the Personal Attendant Log (PAL)
• Monitor and report changes in client condition

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Current auto insurance
• CPR certification (required) but we can train
• Must pass WV CARES (background screening)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift 26 lbs and push/carry up to 50 lbs
• Professional, respectful, and compassionate attitude
