In Home Caregiver - must drive

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In Home Caregiver who must have reliable driving skills to provide exceptional care and support to clients in their homes. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and social activities using your own vehicle or company vehicle
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA confidentiality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and organization within the home
• Document care activities, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; reliable personal vehicle preferred
• Experience working in home & community care settings or assisted living environments
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication management, and vital signs monitoring
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are highly desirable
• Experience caring for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like a Hoyer lift when necessary
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
