About the Role

Aspire Caregiving is seeking reliable, compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors and clients in Salem, OR and nearby areas. This role is ideal for caregivers who value connection, consistency, and providing quality care in a one-on-one setting.

Previous caregiving or DSP experience is preferred (2+ years), but paid training and on-site orientation are provided to help you succeed.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Run errands and complete grocery shopping
• Provide pet care as needed
• Safely transport clients to appointments and community outings

Caregiver Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance
• Ability to speak and communicate clearly in English
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
• Preferably someone who has experience with dementia care
• Can stay up all night as client needs monitoring due to wandering concerns
• Availability for 5 consecutive nights in a week
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and skills assessment
• Willingness to attend a paid, on-site skills assessment and orientation
