In Home Caregiver Part-Time Split Shift $17-$19/HR

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring assistance, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.

We have cases starting at 8am and multiple shorter shifts throughout the day until 9pm shifts in Battle Creek. We are growing and adding opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including memory care and long-term care strategies.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed routines.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Travel to doctor appointments or outside activities

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing homes, hospice care, or direct support is preferred.
• Knowledge of CPR techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Experience in providing patient care for individuals with varying levels of independence.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of the client.
