In-Home Caretaker Denver

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care, assisted living, or hospice care, and will be committed to ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents. This role requires a strong understanding of resident rights, first aid, and CPR, along with the ability to assist individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist residents with mobility and transportation needs within the facility or home.
• Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to nursing staff or family members.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Engage residents in social activities to promote emotional well-being and enhance quality of life.
• Uphold resident rights by treating each individual with dignity and respect at all times.
• Administer first aid as needed and maintain current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or hospice care is preferred.
• Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in caregiving is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
