Part-Time Companion/Caregiver – Light Household Support for Independent Elderly Woman

Location: Maxwell, CA
Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible hours
Pay: $22.50–$25.50 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide part-time support for an independent elderly woman in Maxwell, CA. This is a private caregiving role, posted through Compass SLS & ILS, but not part of our typical service programs. The focus is on household assistance and companionship, not personal care.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with light household tasks like reheating meals and basic tidying
• Provide transportation to medical appointments (approx. every 3 months)
• Help with grocery shopping when a family member is unavailable
• Support with simple administrative tasks such as filing and writing checks (handwriting assistance)
• Offer warm, respectful companionship

No Personal Care Required

• No lifting
• No bathing or hygiene support
• No medication administration

• Kind, dependable, and respectful
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable driving and running errands
• Enjoys supporting others in a calm, home-based environment

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to complete
• Experience supporting older adults is a plus, but not required
