We’re Rycor (www.rycorhvac.com)—the largest, fastest-growing heat pump installer in the U.S.—expanding across the Southeast. We’re hiring an In-Home Heat Pump Sales Designer to drive growth in our new Durham location.
- Launch and grow a new market with a proven leader in residential comfort systems.
- Own the in-home experience—from first conversation to signed agreement.
- Translate measurements and BTU calculations into smart, efficient system designs.
- Conduct persuasive sales presentations and live product demos.
- Meet prospects at homes or businesses for face-to-face consultations.
- Measure, photograph, and map out equipment layouts for proper heating and cooling.
- Assess needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with customer goals.
- Negotiate pricing and terms; close deals to hit revenue targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Track competitors and trends to identify new opportunities.
- Provide clear sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to management.
- Represent Rycor at trade shows and industry events.
- Proven sales or account management experience—preferably in-home.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability.
- Strong negotiation and closing capability.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and consistent in hitting goals.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
