Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1, strengths-based support to youth in home and community settings
- Implement individualized service plans focused on skill-building and goal attainment
- Support development of coping strategies, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills
- Facilitate positive communication between youth, families, and support systems
- Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation (session notes, treatment plans, updates)
- Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and collaterals to support consistency of care
- Adhere to all program guidelines, confidentiality standards, and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (experience may be considered in place of degree)
- Preferred: 1+ year experience working with youth in a human services field
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle (Long Island only), and auto insurance
- Ability to pass all required background checks (fingerprinting & SCR)
Compensation:
- $27–$30/hour (service rate during 2-month probation)
- $30–$33/hour after probation (based on services provided)
- $24/hour non-billable (training, supervision, treatment plans) during probation
- $28.50/hour non-billable after probation
Advanced Rate:
- $46/hour (post-probation) for candidates with a Master’s degree (social work/psychology) + 1 year of relevant experience.
Compensation follows a per-diem model.
Schedule
- Minimum commitment: ~10 hours/week
- Ideal availability: 2–3 weekdays between 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Weekend availability is a plus
- Flexible scheduling based on your availability and client needs
As most of our clients are school-aged, services are primarily scheduled after school hours (2:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
Morning and daytime hours are generally not available Monday-Friday.

Work Location:
- You will meet with clients within their homes and communities. Completing paperwork (notes, treatment plans), training and supervision will take place remotely.
- We serve Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn and are actively hiring in most areas within these regions. While we do our best to match workers with their preferred locations, placements depend on client availability and need.
