In-Home Nanny

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic In-Home Nanny to provide exceptional childcare and caregiving support for families. This role involves nurturing, engaging, and ensuring the safety of children across various age groups, from toddler to kindergarten age. Duties

• Provide attentive and loving care for children, including toddlers, and preschoolers, fostering their physical, emotional, and developmental growth
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs and preferences
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
• Maintain a safe environment by implementing safety protocols and supervising children at all times
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as cleaning toys, organizing play areas, and laundry
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns
• Support children with routines including nap times, diaper changes, potty training, and educational activities
• Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in caregiving approaches and provide regular updates on children’s progress

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children across different ages, especially infants and preschoolers
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Ability to cook healthy meals and snacks suitable for young children
• Experience with childcare routines such as diapering, potty training, and nap schedules
• Willingness to perform light cleaning related to childcare duties
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and caregivers

Schedule:

some flexibility, 20-30 hours per week

Monday 10am-230pm

Tuesday 10am-230pm

Wednesday 10am-230pm

Thursday 3pm-8pm

Friday 10am-230pm

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
