In-Home Sales Consultant – Qualified Leads Provided

Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective homeowners in their homes to understand their flooring needs, design preferences, lifestyle, and budget
  • Provide personalized recommendations for hardwood, carpet, tile, and luxury vinyl plank solutions
  • Conduct accurate measurements and gather project details for estimates and proposals
  • Present product options, pricing, timelines, and installation process in a clear and professional manner
  • Demonstrate product benefits and help clients confidently choose the best fit for their home
  • Build trust quickly and create an exceptional customer experience throughout the consultation
  • Negotiate professionally and maximize opportunities for upgraded products or expanded project scope
  • Ask for the sale and confidently guide clients through the decision-making process
  • Maintain accurate customer notes, estimates, and sales activity in company systems
  • Coordinate with operations and installation teams for a smooth handoff after the sale
  • Represent the company professionally at all times in the field

Experience

  • Proven experience in in-home sales, outside sales, consultative sales, or home improvement sales preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Track record of closing sales and exceeding goals
  • Comfortable leading conversations and presenting solutions in customers’ homes
  • Excellent negotiation and objection-handling skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable using tablets, CRM systems, email, and digital sales tools
  • Flooring, remodeling, interior design, or construction knowledge is a plus
  • Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
