Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated In-House Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. (Global Growth Holdings) The ideal candidate will bring extensive appellate experience at both state and federal levels, a strong background in commercial and civil litigation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines. This role requires an active Florida Bar license, with a preference for candidates admitted to Florida federal courts. This role will be focused on, but not limited to, complex business litigation
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company in appellate proceedings at both state and federal levels, including drafting briefs, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Review and draft discovery trial documents to identify legal errors, and argue how these errors affected the outcome of the case.
- Represent cases in every jurisdiction in the country.
- Manage own caseload and handle commercial and civil litigations matters from top to bottom, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
- Provide legal counsel on a wide range of business matters, including contracts, compliance, and risk management.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation and business strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure alignment on legal objectives to include other internal attorneys, external attorneys and paralegals.
- Handle patent and trademark matters, including filings, disputes, and portfolio management, as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of legal work under tight deadlines.
- Conduct thorough legal research and review legal challenges.
- Attend court hearings and manage filings as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Experience: 5+ years of Florida State with proven trial experience in commercial and civil litigation.
- Federal Court Admission: Admission to Florida federal court with 5+ years of Federal litigation experience.
- Bar Admission: Active license to practice law in Florida (required).
Skills:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management;
- Knowledge of the FRCP;
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong advocacy and courtroom presence.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with intellectual property law, particularly patents and trademarks.
- Experience working in-house or in a corporate legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of Florida state laws and federal court procedures.
Compensation
- Full time hours

- $100,000 annual with bonus opportunity
