Position Overview:
We are hiring a high-level Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to bring our accounting fully in-house. This role requires a QuickBooks expert who can take full ownership of our financial systems, reporting, and processes across multiple locations.

- Execute month-end and year-end close, including rollovers
- Maintain and audit general ledger accuracy
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Process and manage payroll within QuickBooks or integrated systems
- Assist with basic HR functions (onboarding, employee records, payroll compliance)
- Build and maintain clean, scalable accounting processes
- Provide clear financial visibility and reporting to ownership
QuickBooks Requirements (Critical):
- Advanced / expert-level experience in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Ability to handle full-cycle accounting inside QuickBooks
- Strong experience with:
- Chart of accounts setup and structuring
- Journal entries and adjustments
- Bank feeds and reconciliation
- Financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Payroll integration and management
- Troubleshooting discrepancies and cleanup work
- Experience cleaning up or correcting messy books is a major plus
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (multi-location preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and deadlines
- Experience with inventory/parts reconciliation (automotive preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
What Success Looks Like:
- Financials delivered on time, every month without fail
- Clean, audit-ready books at all times
- Zero guesswork in financial reporting
- Fully reconciled parts, accounts, and transactions
- QuickBooks system running efficiently and accurately
Compensation & Growth:
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Long-term growth opportunity as we scale to multiple locations
- Performance-based incentives tied to accuracy and reporting timelines
Who This Is NOT For:
- Someone who needs supervision to stay on track
- Someone who is “familiar” with QuickBooks but not advanced
- Someone who misses deadlines or works reactively
Who This IS For:
- Someone who takes pride in clean, accurate numbers
- Someone who can own the entire accounting function
- Someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment
How to Apply:
Submit your resume along with a brief explanation of your QuickBooks experience, including specific examples of month-end close, reconciliations, and any cleanup work you've performed.
