We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented In-House Case Manager to join our growing team. This position works closely with physicians, employers, injured workers, nurse case managers, and federal/state agencies to coordinate care for our Department of Labor (DOL/OWCP) and Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate care and follow-up for injured workers
  • Communicate with physicians, employers, claims examiners, and nurse case managers
  • Assist patients with treatment scheduling, referrals, authorizations, and return-to-work coordination
  • Monitor patient progress and ensure timely documentation and claim updates
  • Maintain accurate records within EMR and workers’ compensation systems
  • Help patients navigate the DOL and Ohio BWC process with professionalism and empathy
  • Support compliance with occupational medicine and workers’ compensation guidelines
  • Help patients navigate the DOL/OWCP and Ohio BWC process with clarity, compassion, and professionalism
  • Ensure documentation and case updates are accurate, timely, and organized
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-centered office culture where teamwork and accountability matter

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in case management, workers’ compensation, occupational medicine, medical office administration, or healthcare coordination preferred
  • Knowledge of DOL/OWCP or Ohio BWC processes is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • EMR experience preferred
  • Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
  • A calm, professional, and compassionate approach with patients and coworkers
  • Someone who values teamwork, integrity, and creating a positive patient experience
