Greenlink Energy Solutions is seeking a mission-aligned Grant Program Manager with a sharp legal or regulatory background to lead the execution and compliance of a newly awarded $1M Illinois DCEO Grant. This high-impact initiative focuses on expanding energy efficiency programs to underserved communities across Illinois.

This role is ideal for attorneys, paralegals, policy advisors, or regulatory professionals looking to pivot into the clean energy sector and help shape scalable, community-centered solutions. You’ll work at the intersection of law, policy, finance, and equity—managing a public grant from contract to closeout with the precision of a legal expert and the drive of a social entrepreneur.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as in-house counsel for routine commercial contract work
• Translate public funding requirements into clear, actionable internal processes
• Serve as liaison between Greenlink, state agencies, community stakeholders, and contractors
• Draft and review contracts, subgrant agreements, and ensure audit-readiness
• Monitor and report on financials, KPIs, and equity outcomes with rigor and clarity
• Support strategic outreach to ensure funding access aligns with environmental justice goals
• Oversee the lifecycle of a state-funded grant, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, contractual obligations, and risk mitigation

Who You Are

• JD or equivalent experience in legal/regulatory affairs, public policy, or grants/contracts management (3 years+ preferred)
• Skilled at interpreting complex statutes, rules, and grant guidelines into operational workflows
• Familiar with state/federal programs, clean energy policy, or nonprofit grant compliance
• Excellent at organizing information, managing deadlines, and communicating across teams
• Passionate about building a more equitable, energy-efficient future
