In-House Legal Counsel

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced In-House Counsel / Business Attorney to support a portfolio of businesses by providing practical, business-focused legal guidance. This role will work closely with internal leadership and coordinate with external legal vendors to ensure legal matters are handled efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal legal counsel across multiple business entities.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external legal firms and vendors.
• Draft, review, and negotiate confidentiality agreements (NDAs), vendor agreements, and other business contracts.
• Review legal documents and contracts to identify risks, obligations, and compliance issues.
• Provide legal insight and recommendations to leadership to support strategic business decisions.
• Assist in standardizing legal processes, templates, and documentation across businesses.
• Ensure contracts and legal practices align with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support internal teams with legal questions related to operations, vendors, and partnerships.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Experience in business law, contracts, and corporate matters.
• Strong experience drafting and reviewing contracts and confidential agreements.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.
• Experience working with or managing outside counsel and legal vendors.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
