The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented In House Legal Counsel to join our dynamic real estate team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal guidance on commercial and real estate matters, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks to support our company's growth and operations in the UAE market. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive legal support on commercial contracts, real estate transactions, and lease agreements. - Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements to protect the company's interests. - Advise on regulatory and compliance issues relevant to the real estate industry in Dubai and the broader UAE. - Coordinate with external legal advisors as necessary to manage litigation and complex legal matters. - Support business teams by providing timely legal insights and proactive solutions to commercial challenges. - Ensure company policies and procedures comply with local laws and regulations. - Conduct legal due diligence for property acquisitions and other business initiatives. - Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that impact the real estate sector and advise management accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; additional qualifications in Commercial Law or Real Estate Law preferred. - Minimum 3 years of legal experience, preferably in the real estate or commercial sector in the UAE. - Strong knowledge of UAE Commercial Law, Real Estate Regulations, and related legal frameworks. - Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are a plus. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
