In-House Marketing Manager (Full-Time) – Flooring Company

About Us

We are a fast-growing, locally owned flooring company seeking a full-time, in-house Marketing Manager to take true ownership of our marketing and lead generation. Our goal is ambitious and clear: grow from $2.5M to $10M+ in annual revenue and become the most trusted flooring company in Washington State.

This is not an agency role and not a social-media-first position. This is a hands-on growth role with real ownership and measurable impact.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, office-based role focused primarily on home-services lead generation, conversion optimization, and brand authority. You will own paid advertising performance, oversee supporting content efforts, and continuously bring new ideas to improve lead quality and volume.

Occasionally, you will also act as a front-of-house point of contact for walk-in clients—welcoming them into the showroom, understanding their basic needs, and smoothly handing them off to ownership or a project manager. This is not a project management or full sales role, but a light support function as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize all home-service advertising and lead-generation channels, including:
  • Google Ads (Search & Local Services)
  • Yelp
  • Thumbtack
  • Other high-performing platforms relevant to home services
  • Manage campaign strategy, budgets, tracking, and ROI with a focus on qualified homeowners
  • Optimize website experience, SEO, landing pages, and conversions
  • Oversee online reviews, reputation, and local brand presence
  • Coordinate content creation:
  • Before/after photography
  • Professional remodel videos (through hired vendors)
  • Customer testimonial interviews
  • Occasionally visit job sites for content capture or coordination
  • Develop and test local marketing initiatives (neighborhood presence, partnerships, branding ideas)
  • Greet and assist walk-in clients as needed, gather basic project information, and connect them with the appropriate team member
  • Track performance data and adjust strategy to keep installation crews consistently booked
  • Proactively bring new ideas, tools, and growth strategies to leadership

Target Audience

Our ideal customers are established homeowners, typically ages 25–80, with the financial ability to invest in quality flooring and remodel projects. Marketing efforts should reflect trust, professionalism, and premium value.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven marketing experience, preferably in home services, construction, or trades
  • Strong experience with paid search and home-service lead platforms
  • Comfortable owning results from strategy through execution
  • Data-driven, organized, and proactive
  • Professional, personable, and comfortable interacting with walk-in clients
  • Able to work independently in an in-office environment
  • Social media experience is helpful but not a primary focus

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
