Position Summary

Univair Aircraft Corporation is an 80 year old company that manufactures replacement parts for General Aviation aircraft built between the late 1940s and 1970s. We are looking for someone to run our in-house print shop. This employee will be responsible for producing all advertising and marketing materials, catalogs, manuals and business forms, from initial concept to final printed product.

Applicants must be a self-starter and well organized, and able to prioritize projects with minimal supervision. Meeting advertising deadlines and completing in-house projects in a timely manner. will require excellent organizational and communication skills.

Primary Duties

• Layout and design of print advertisements as requiredusing Adobe Creative Suite 6 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)
• Submit final press-ready artwork to advertising partners on a weekly basis; maintain yearly advertising schedules with over 20 industry publications.
• · Operate print shop equipment: high-speed digital printers, electric paper cutter, high-speed folder, GBC and perfect binders, drill press, laminator, and padding press
• Design and print tradeshow advertising and marketing materials
• Design and print business forms, catalogs, manuals, labels, signs, etc.
• Manage the company’s ecommerce website: update product prices, descriptions, photos, shipping costs, graphics, etc.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of print shop, and proper inventory levels of materials and supplies used in print production (paper, toner, binding supplies, etc.)
• Maintain printing and binding equipment in working order; place service calls with our contracted technicians when necessary

Additional Duties

• Answer phone calls and emails related to print shop operations
• Some video filming and editing with Wondershare Filmora
• Some email marketing with platforms such as Brevo or Constant Contact
• Participate in annual year-end inventory
• Other reasonable tasks that may be assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Print production experience
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CS6 or later
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows based software
• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skills
• Ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers, vendors and contractors
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Commitment to quality, safety, and ethical behavior
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to climb a ladder

Salary commensurate with experience and abilities.
