In-Office QA Nurse

Job Summary

ComfortPlus Home Healthcare is seeking a Part-time In-Office QA Nurse to support our clinical and compliance team. This role is responsible for reviewing home health documentation, auditing charts, assisting with OASIS review, and ensuring compliance with Medicare and agency standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and experienced in home health documentation and quality assurance processes. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing and clinicians to maintain accurate and timely records while supporting quality patient care.

Duties

• Review skilled nursing and therapy documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Audit patient charts to ensure compliance with Medicare and agency requirements
• Review and assist with OASIS documentation
• Monitor physician orders, plans of care, recertifications, and discharge documentation
• Follow up with clinicians regarding missing or incomplete documentation
• Maintain organized and accurate patient records
• Assist with compliance audits and quality improvement activities
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Coordinate with office staff and clinicians regarding documentation issues
• Utilize WellSky/Kinnser for chart review and documentation management

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required
• Home health experience preferred
• Experience with OASIS documentation strongly preferred
• QA or chart auditing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Medicare home health regulations
• Experience with WellSky/Kinnser preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Proficient with computers, email, and Microsoft Office

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
