In-Person Elementary Tutor

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team at Ottimmo. This is an in-person role focused on providing high-quality, personalized instruction to students in grades K-5. The ideal candidate will have a passion for foundational education and a desire to grow within a local business.

Duties

• Deliver in-person tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs, focusing on foundational subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote active learning
• Regularly assess student performance through observations and formal evaluations; maintain detailed records of academic growth.
• Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance student engagement and understanding
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, to coordinate instructional strategies and address student challenges
• Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas for further development
• Prior classroom experience working with children in elementary or preschool settings is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
• Experience with special education or early childhood education is a plus
• Familiarity with learning technology tools used in educational settings
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learners and adapt teaching methods accordingly
• Childcare or preschool experience that showcases patience and nurturing qualities is advantageous

Rates vary for 1:1 class and Group class.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
