Overview
We are seeking an experienced In-Person Tow Dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at coordinating tow services efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly. Duties

• Coordinate and dispatch tow trucks and recovery units in real-time to respond promptly to customer needs.
• Utilize transportation management systems (Towbook), including take tow calls, to schedule, track, and optimize dispatch activities.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and team members via multi-line phone systems while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Enter data accurately into systems such as AS400, Towbook software, and GPS tracking tools to ensure precise records of all dispatch activities.
• Monitor GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for route planning and vehicle location updates to enhance efficiency.
• Manage shipping & receiving documentation related to freight movement and coordinate with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers when necessary.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Tow Dispatcher or in transportation dispatching within a logistics or towing environment..
• Familiarity with GPS technology, GIS mapping tools, and fleet management software to coordinate routes effectively.
• Excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot issues quickly and optimize dispatch operations.
• Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette for interacting with drivers, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry under pressure while managing multi-line phone systems efficiently.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
