Role Description

This is a hybrid position for an In-Person Tutor for grades 1 through 8, based in Milton and Pace , FL. The tutor will be responsible for delivering personalized instruction across various subjects, helping students understand and master foundational concepts. Duties will include preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The tutor will also foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere to encourage academic growth and confidence in students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, a related field, or equivalent teaching experience is a must
• Strong subject matter expertise to teach core academic subjects for grades 1-8, including Math, Reading, Writing, and Science.
• Experience in lesson planning and delivering customized learning approaches
• A personable approach with both parents and students. Proven communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs.
• Dependability, professionalism, and adaptability in an educational environment
• FL certified teacher preferred but not essential.
• Direct Teaching experience with elementary and middle school students is expected.
• Step Up for students status preferred but not essential.
