Duties

• Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions in English and Math, including topics such as Algebra, Geometry.
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals.
• Utilize various learning technologies and digital tools to enhance the remote learning experience.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and active participation.
• Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and areas needing improvement.
• Collaborate with parents or guardians when applicable to ensure student success and address any concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching at various levels of education; classroom management experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Math and English language skills.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learner needs.
• Proficiency with learning technology platforms and computer skills necessary for remote instruction.
• Experience working with children, students with special needs or in early childhood education is desirable.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for adult education or higher education settings as needed.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
