IN-PERSON Tutors Needed in Lawndale

Looking for 1:1 in-person tutors to travel to the student's home or local library. Applicants MUST have prior tutoring experience or creating lesson plans.

Typical Schedule:

-Approx 10 hrs per week

-Generally 2:30 to 7 PM, Monday-Friday

-Occasional weekends if requested by clients

Typical clients :

-K-12

-All academic subjects

-ACT or SAT prep

Requirements:

-Previous tutoring experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in their respective homes or closest public library.
• Develop a personalized curriculum to meet the learning needs of each student.
• Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching methods and engage students effectively.
• Manage classroom dynamics and ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents and teachers to track student progress and address any concerns.
• Plan and implement engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.

Pay: Tutors are paid $35 per hour, and are paid weekly via direct deposit.
