As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:
- Supervise all aspects of in-room dining operations, including order taking, preparation coordination, delivery, and tray retrieval.
- Ensure all guest orders are delivered accurately, promptly, and in perfect condition, upholding five-star service standards.
- Maintain clear communication with the kitchen, minibar, and other F&B outlets to ensure smooth coordination and guest satisfaction.
- Train, coach, and motivate the in-room dining team to consistently provide high-quality service and maintain product knowledge.
- Monitor staff appearance, grooming, and adherence to service protocols and safety standards.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and guest recovery.
- Supervise the setup and maintenance of in-room dining pantries and service areas to ensure cleanliness, order, and readiness.
- Manage daily shift schedules, task assignments, and team performance.
- Assist in inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining par levels for operating equipment and amenities.
- Conduct daily briefings and coordinate with the Outlets Manager to align service goals and operational plans.
- Support the implementation of hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Ensure all billing, posting, and cash-handling procedures are accurately followed.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 2 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage service within a luxury hotel, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and luxury dining standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order management software.
- Basic understanding of financial controls and inventory systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Guest-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages preferred.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
