Unique Life Inc is seeking to hire a Full-Time Incident Manager for its Quality Assurance Department. This will be an in-office position. The ideal candidate will be a methodical professional with exceptional communication, business writing skills, and an eye for detail.
The Incident Manager will be working as a part of our QA team and developing a complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality of our services but also fosters a “Quality Culture”, in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in every service that we deliver. The role requires maintaining a thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance policies and procedures, Quality Improvement processes/protocols, and updates to Federal, State and Local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Internal Audits/Reviews for services rendered.
- Assist operations and local quality functions in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels.
- Performs daily examinations of program functions, system basis and provides systematic follow up.
- Maintain appropriate documents, records, statistics, reports, evaluations, and the like.
- Investigate all incidents for the program and follow up with appropriate filing (147) of Reportable Incidents, Serious Reportable Incidents and Allegations of Abuse. Upload investigations into OPWDD, IRMA, and WSIR websites.
- Arrange and participate in meetings for the Incident Review Committee.
- Arrange for all required training and in-services for staff in Incident Reporting, protocols, and updates.
- Visit other sites to conduct training and meetings.
- Serves as a liaison between Residential Administrators, parents, staff, clinicians, and community agencies.
- Ensure documentation of services provided are accurate and within OPWDD regulations
- Work with program staff to address any audit findings and improve documentation and procedures Make recommendations to program administrators to correct, improve or eliminate inconsistencies identified from the investigation.
- Provide plans for improvement to supervisors and programs in a timely manner· Analyze and investigate complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Work Experience
· BA (or higher degree) in English required.
· Strong business writing skills required.
· Excellent command of the English language, especially the rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar.
· Strong computer literacy skills required
· Must be able to communicate effectively.
· Experience with data/trend analysis preferred.
· Flexibility and collaboration are essential
· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
· OPWDD or related experience required. Candidates without this will not be considered for the position.
