ROLE: This delightful and productive family in Silver Lake is seeking infant care as soon as possible. Currently, they would also appreciate personal assistant support while the baby is napping, but this support will be temporary. As the baby grows and sleeps less, you can transition to full-time nannying, concentrating on day to day care, nurturing and developmental activities. The weekly schedule is generally consistent, although there may be some variations due to their production work. You will be notified of your schedule a week or two in advance. WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: A newborn baby boy!

WE’RE LOOKING FOR: A true collaborator—someone I enjoy spending time with and someone who is "gentle and kind until the end of time." My husband and I welcomed our son, Felix, this past December, and we are now seeking a nanny to join our family. We are open to both full-time and part-time arrangements as we transition back to work and beyond. Since I am primarily breastfeeding while managing my own company, I need someone who is comfortable working flexibly and closely alongside me during this new chapter. Having been a nanny myself in my 20s, I hold a deep respect for the role and the support it takes to raise a child.

The Love and Logic approach resonates most with our family; our goal is to be highly responsive and able to pivot to our child’s needs while raising someone who is inherently kind and considerate. We are looking for a partner to help us foster a deep appreciation for art, culture, and social justice, ensuring Felix grows up with a global consciousness and a commitment to advocacy, including pro-Palestine values. This is deeply personal for us: my husband grew up in the Workers Circle, a secular Jewish organization committed to social justice values that are closely aligned with Jews for Palestine. As a multiracial woman, I want a nanny who has the language to navigate our unique family dynamic. Our community is diverse so we need someone who is genuinely open-minded and eager to evolve their understanding of the world. At the same time, we value a non-judgmental environment. We want to be in constant, curious dialogue about the world and the issues that interest us. Ultimately, we want to connect with someone who is excited to assist in raising the best child possible. We view nannies as professionals and, therefore, are committed to maintaining clear expectations and boundaries to set everyone up for success! Additionally, we are looking for a nanny who:

●Has considerable experience with infants. Holds a university degree or has comparable life experience.

●Is available to accompany us on set and for light travel. We do not expect to travel with out nanny heavily.

●Can assist with light household organization tasks, restocking supplies, and maintaining a tidy environment. Also currently open to assisting with light personal assistant tasks while Felix is sleeping quite a bit! Once he grows, your focus will be solely on him.

● Is eager to take Felix on fun adventures and activities. Someone who is comfortable driving in LA is essential.

●Ideally can swim although not a deal breaker. We love water and want to raise our baby in environment they feel safe and supported and are brave and would like someone who encourages that!

●Can speak a 2nd language and can speak to our child. Spanish is ideal. Not a requirement but we'd love this!

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING:

RATE: $30-35. We are flexible for the right person. We will offer a rate commensurate with experience.

SCHEDULE: Weekdays, 9 AM-5 PM. Please be flexible! The schedule may vary but you will know a week or two in advance.
