We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Incoming Materials Quality Inspector to join our team. The Incoming Materials Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting, testing, documenting, and verifying received goods to support production quality and supplier compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and products based on drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Verify purchase order requirements, certifications, and documentation against received items
- Accurately record inspection results, including defects, measurements, and nonconformances
- Identify and segregate nonconforming materials and initiate corrective action processes
- Maintain proper inspection records, logs, and reports in accordance with company procedures
- Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to resolve quality issues
- Support supplier quality performance by documenting trends and recurring defects
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and released for production use
- Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection, receiving, or manufacturing
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of quality standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Proficient in basic computer systems (Excel, ERP systems, or quality software)
