Job Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, bought-out parts, and sub-assemblies as per control plan and specifications.
• Ensure incoming materials meet drawing, specification, and customer requirements.
• Review supplier inspection reports, COA, and test certificates.
• Handle incoming material non-conformances and raise NCRs.
• Coordinate with suppliers for corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain incoming inspection records and ensure material traceability.
• Support PPAP and sample approval activities for new and changed parts.
• Coordinate with production, stores, and supplier quality teams for material release.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality reviews.
• Ensure 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in incoming inspection area.

Key Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of plastic injection molding process and defects.
• Strong understanding of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges.
• Basic knowledge of PPAP, Control Plan, and PFMEA.
• Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with Volkswagen (VW) OEM or VW Tier-1 suppliers is preferred.

Education Qualification:

Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Plastics, or related discipline.
