Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and reliable independent contractor courier drivers to join our dynamic delivery team. As a same-day delivery driver operating a cargo van, SUV, or car, you will play a vital role in ensuring prompt and professional delivery of packages to customers. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cargo van, SUV, or car to complete same-day deliveries across designated routes
• Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling and security of all items
• Navigate route driving using GPS or other navigation tools to meet delivery deadlines
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with recipients and addressing any questions or concerns
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Manage documentation related to deliveries, including logs and delivery confirmation records
• Assist with warehouse activities such as loading packages and moving items as needed using equipment like pallet jacks or manual lifting techniques

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience with cargo vans, SUVs, or similar vehicles preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading and moving heavy items
• Familiarity with route driving, GPS navigation, and time management for timely deliveries
• Ability to lift heavy packages safely and perform manual lifting tasks regularly
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols for box trucks or similar vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission is a plus
