Independent Contractor Driver

Overview
Victory Lane Courier seeks a medical courier to provide timely pick up and delivery. This role involves transporting lab specimens, medical supplies, and materiel between healthcare facilities in Selma, AL and Tuscaloosa, AL. The route requires a 2:00 PM pick up Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The routes starts in Selma, AL and ends in Tuscaloosa, AL. This position supports the healthcare industry and requires a dedicated individual committed to high standards of professionalism, integrity, and punctuality. Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate your own vehicle for pick up, transport, and delivery
• Load and unload lab specimens, medical supplies, and materials
• Maintain cleanliness and routine vehicle maintenance to avoid service interruption
• Follow all safety protocols related to handling medical specimens and hazardous materials
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Show proof of Worker's Comp or Occupational Accident Insurance
• Previous courier experience
• Pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check
• Minimum automobile liability insurance $200,000.00 per person, $500,000.00 per occurrence, and $20,000.00 property
• W9
• Must have a smartphone and live in close proximity to Selma, AL or Tuscaloosa, AL

Pay: $75.00 per day
