Independent Contractor Driver – Non Emergency Medical Transport

Make-A-Way Transport is expanding and looking for experienced Independent Contractor Drivers to support medical and other personal transportation across Tennessee.

We are seeking Drivers who are reliable, professional, and committed to delivering safe and compassionate transportation services.

Vehicle Requirement

• Drivers are expected to use their own reliable personal vehicle that meets operational and safety standards.

• Regional Routes
• Local Routes

Pay Structure:

• Drivers can earn up to $1,200 per week or more, depending on:

Service Areas Include:

• Knoxville and surrounding areas such as: Sweetwater, Clinton, Farragut, Greeneville, Sevierville, Jefferson City, Hawkins County

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive regional routes between cities and counties
• Transport clients to essential medical appointments and other essential services
• Drive scheduled routes across assigned areas (local or regional)
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, safety, and punctuality
• Provide consistent, respectful, and compassionate service
• Operate independently while following company service standards

Driver Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
• Comfortable with local and/or regional driving
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle
• F-Endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
• DOT Medical Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Prior driving or transportation experience preferred
