Role Overview

We are seeking a licensed Holistic Esthetician to join our network of independent practitioners at The Salt Marsh Wellness Sanctuary. This role is centered around sculptural, grounding facials that draw inspiration from the tides and textures of the natural world. Each treatment is a sensory journey - lifting, softening, and restoring radiance through intuitive touch and elemental care.

For all skincare products, we partner with OSEA, a sustainable California brand that draws its power from the sea. Rooted in marine botanicals and guided by a deep respect for the natural world, OSEA’s formulations embody the same balance of purity, strength, and renewal that defines the Salt Marsh Wellness experience. Practitioners will have access to OSEA’s professional education platform, which offers training and guidance in their treatment protocols—a resource designed to deepen familiarity with the brand’s ocean-inspired products and holistic approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide 60-minute facial rituals incorporating sculptural lifting massage, Gua Sha, facial cupping, and lymphatic work
• Customize each session to the individual - honoring skin condition, energy, and seasonal rhythm
• Utilize OSEA’s ocean-inspired, non-toxic skincare formulations, rich in seaweed and active botanicals
• Maintain a serene, well-appointed treatment space in accordance with Sanctuary standards
• Partner with Guest Services and the Spa Manager to ensure seamless guest flow and experience

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Esthetics License
• 2–3 years of professional experience with advanced facial massage or holistic skincare techniques
• Familiarity with botanical, non-toxic, or small-batch product lines
• Grounded, intuitive presence and an attunement to subtle detail

Compensation and Structure

• Independent contractor position, compensated per service plus gratuities
• Flexible schedule based on seasonal demand and availability
• Access to sauna, steam, and cold plunge amenities following sessions
