Independent Contractor/Medical Courier

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages/medications/and supplies, while ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves long distance driving, gps use, loading and unloading goods, with the use of personal vehicle to complete all assigned routes. The Courier will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate a vehicle to transport and deliver medical supplies/packages/medications

- Load and unload packages from the vehicle

- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of packages

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered

- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers at delivery locations

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate a vehicle
• Knowledge of customer operations and procedures
• Vehicle must be registered and fully insured with applicant's name on insurance as a listed driver
• Excellent route driving skills to navigate efficiently between delivery locations
• Willingness to drive over 100 miles a day.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major offenses in the last three years).
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Subject to background check

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $300.00 per day
