Avery Capital Logistics is a security-focused logistics company expanding its nationwide fleet. We are currently seeking professional, reliable Independent Contractors with their own vehicles to join our network.

Whether you drive a sedan or a box truck, we have work available. We offer a mix of scheduled routes, on-demand hotshots, and critical medical deliveries (STAT).

ACCEPTED VEHICLE TYPES:

We are looking for owner-operators with the following vehicles:

• Economy/Standard: Sedans, SUVs, Crossovers (Great for small parcel, pharmacy, and lab samples).
• Mid-Size: Minivans (Great for larger routes and bulk stops).
• Cargo Capacity: Cargo Vans, Sprinter Vans (High Roof/Standard).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick up and deliver items to residential, commercial, and medical facilities within the Des Moines, IA area.
• Use a smartphone app for routing, scanning, and proof of delivery (photos/signatures).
• Maintain professionalism and communication with dispatch.
• Handle sensitive items (medical specimens, legal docs) with care and strict chain of custody.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
• Clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Report).
• Must pass a background check.
• Smart phone (iOS or Android) with a data plan.
• TWIC/TSA approved is a plus.
• For Medical Routes: HIPAA/Bloodborne Pathogen/Fraud, Waste, and Abuse certification is a plus (but we can guide you on compliance).
