Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install fiber cement siding panels accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
• Prepare surfaces by ensuring proper framing, sheathing, and weatherproofing before siding installation
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations
• Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of siding materials while maintaining safety protocols on-site
• Seal joints with caulking and perform trim carpentry to achieve a polished finish
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project timelines and quality standards

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, as well as power tools including saws and drills
• Strong background in construction site experience across various trades like roofing, masonry, framing carpentry, stucco application, and remodeling
• Knowledge of metal stud framing, plumbing integration, masonry work, welding techniques, tile laying, concrete forming, restoration projects, and drywall finishing
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout the workday
• Skilled in caulking for weatherproofing joints and trim carpentry for aesthetic detailing
• Familiarity with fabrication processes related to fiber cement materials and adherence to safety standards in construction environments
