Contract Attorney – Florida Real Estate Litigation (Experienced Only)

We are a Tampa, Florida–based real estate land holdings group managing a high volume of litigation throughout the State of Florida. We have a head Corporate counsel and you would be working under them for our company.

Our matters include, but are not limited to:

• Quiet Title Actions
• Declaratory Judgment Actions
• Evictions
• Trust Litigation
• Probate matters
• Other real estate-related litigation

We are seeking a Florida Bar–licensed attorney with substantial, hands-on litigation experience in these areas. This is not an entry-level position, and we are not seeking attorneys who require routine supervision or training. Our cases are based on speed of completion, not delay, if you are a delayer, this is not for you.

Responsibilities

• Draft complaints, motions, responses, notices of hearing, memorandums of law, and other litigation filings with minimal oversight
• Communicate with opposing counsel as needed
• Conduct legal research and proactively troubleshoot procedural and substantive case issues
• Draft proposed orders and final judgments
• Attend hearings when required
• Clearing and setting hearings with opposing counsel at next closest time available.

Compensation & Structure

• Remote, contract-based position
• Weekly invoicing required and paid electronically end of week on Friday @ 5pm (ACH)
• Compensation: $75/hour

1. Qualified candidates will begin with a trial period for 1-2 weeks.

2. Submissions without relevant writing samples will not be reviewed.

3. Must have 3 years past experence minimum
