Contract / Independent Consultant

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Independent IT Consultant to provide project-based IT services and ongoing help ticket support for a professional office environment.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated consultant who can troubleshoot efficiently, communicate clearly with end users, and assist with both day-to-day technical support and larger technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive technical support for help desk tickets
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 issues
  • Support workstations, printers, email, networking, and user access
  • Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and IT projects
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors when needed
  • Maintain documentation and communicate status updates clearly
  • Offer recommendations for improving office technology and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
  • Experience supporting Mac/Apple-based office environments
  • Knowledge of networking, printers, email systems, and basic cybersecurity best practices
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Prior experience working as an independent consultant or managed IT provider preferred
