Beta-Care Support Solutions LLC is an Independent Living Services (ILS) provider vendored with the Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC). We are committed to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their communities. Our services include support with daily living skills, money management, social skills development, community integration, and other individualized supports designed to help each person achieve their goals and maximize their independence.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Vietnamese-speaking Independent Living Skills (ILS) Support Provider to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Independent Living Skills (ILS) Support Provider will deliver individualized, one-on-one support to adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and throughout the community. The successful candidate must be fluent in Vietnamese and English and be able to provide instruction, coaching, and support in the client's preferred language. The primary goal of this role is to help individuals develop the skills necessary to live as independently and successfully as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing individualized instruction and coaching in daily living skills
• Communicating effectively with clients in Vietnamese and English
• Supporting clients in their homes and during community-based activities
• Assisting with personal care tasks as needed
• Teaching money management, budgeting, and financial literacy skills
• Helping clients access community resources and navigate public transportation
• Encouraging social skill development and meaningful community participation
• Assisting with meal planning, grocery shopping, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Supporting clients in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized living environment
• Assisting with scheduling and attending medical and other important appointments
• Teaching cooking and food preparation skills in the client's home
• Providing advocacy and support when appropriate
• Promoting client independence while ensuring health and safety
• Maintaining accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records
• Implementing individualized service plans and goals

Qualifications

• Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required
• Previous experience providing Independent Living Services (ILS), Supported Living Services (SLS), caregiving, or related services preferred
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional
• Strong ability to teach, coach, and motivate individuals with diverse learning styles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)
• Current and valid California driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle with current automobile insurance
• Ability and willingness to transport clients and travel throughout the community as needed
• Current TB test/clearance as required by state and agency regulations
• Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete service notes and reports in a timely manner
