Independent Medical Courier Contractor

Starting Pay: $25-27/hour

Pay Schedule: 5th & 20th of each month

Position Type: 1099 Contractor

About the Role:

We are seeking reliable, punctual drivers to join our medical courier team in Central Oregon. This role is not a gig-style delivery job—consistency and reliability are critical. You will be responsible for transporting medical specimens between clinics, labs, and storage facilities using proper handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up medical specimens from assigned locations
• Place specimens in appropriate cooler systems for transport
• Deliver specimens to the designated storage facility
• Maintain route schedule consistently and punctually
• Follow safety and handling protocols for medical materials

Routes / Coverage Areas:

• Route 1: John Day → Burns
• Route 2: John Day → Burns → Christmas Valley
• Route 3: Bend

MWF - route 1

T/Th - route 2

M-F Bend

Sat/Sun - John day only

Your route will be assigned and consistent weekly. Additional routes may be available if you want to take on more.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently
• Commitment to following proper specimen handling procedures
• Comfortable with scheduled, recurring routes (this is not a flexible pick-and-choose gig)
