Independent Medical Courier Contractor (Cargo Van Only)

This position offers the flexibility of being an independent contractor while providing essential services to healthcare providers and laboratories. Independent contractors will need their own Cargo Vans. Route is Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport medical items using your cargo van, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Execute route driving efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries across designated areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and healthcare staff during pickups and drop-offs.
• Load and secure shipments utilizing a push cart or dolly
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation of your delivery vehicle.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and delivery logs for compliance purposes.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within a medical or warehouse environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating Cargo Vans.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely, including moving boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Familiarity with route planning, load & unload procedures, and driving in urban or suburban settings.
